The Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria has announced that Acting President Yemi Osinbajo and other dignitaries will speak on the challenges confronting the manufacturing sector in the country.
According to COREN, the acting President, as well as other senior government officials are expected to make inputs on the theme, ‘Entrepreneurship and manufacturing in Nigeria: Challenges and opportunities for a better future’.
The President, COREN, Mr. Kashim Ali, told journalists in Abuja on Friday that the speakers would participate at the council’s 26th Engineering Assembly, adding that the programme would help in proffering solutions that would further sharpen the entrepreneurial skills of engineers in the country.
He said, “We want to bring out the enterprising abilities in ourselves, not just being engineers. We want to be engineers who contribute in business, either by running our owning businesses, or by assisting meaningfully, based on our entrepreneurial skills.
