The Women Association of Quantity Surveyors in Nigeria (WAQSN) has appointed Mr. Segun Ajanlekoko as its Life Grand Patron.

 In a letter to the Ajanlekoko signed by the Chairperson, Aderonke Oyelami and Secretary, Dr. Kulomri Adegbo paid tribute to him for establishing WAQSN in 2004 as the 17th President, Nigerian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (NIQS).

   The association was established primarily to encourage the continued involvement of women in the quantity surveying profession and provide appropriate support for the institute.

  In the letter, the association said: “As the founding father of the association we recognise your foresight and greatly appreciate and value your support and contribution to WAQSN, hence the unanimous decision of the members at its annual general meeting to appoint you as Life Grand Patron of WAQSN.”

Ajanlekoko is the President, Commonwealth Association of Surveying and Land Economy (CASLE), and Managing Partner at CEP Limited.
