Dubai Land Department (DLD) has announced the launch of an awareness campaign for its ‘Dubai Brokers’ application – the first of its kind in the world. ‘Dubai Brokers’ is the most important application issued by DLD for providing accurate and up-to-date information on licensed Dubai real estate brokers and real estate companies that have been approved by the department.
Yousef Al Hashmi, Deputy Executive Director of RERA at DLD – the regulatory arm of DLD, commented: “The ‘Dubai Brokers’ application is characterised by speed and trust. It supports the sale and purchase of real estate by making the process both smart and safe, and recognises the important role played by real estate brokers, especially in enhancing real estate transactions in the Emirate. We have designed our comprehensive campaign to reach all segments and stakeholders that are relevant to real estate broker services. We encourage these parties to download the application to help them identify and facilitate all their procedures, and also offer a wide range of options for investors. ”
The ‘Dubai Brokers’ application targets a large segment of owners and real estate investors, providing them with access to 2,340 registered real estate offices in Dubai, 5,856 active brokers in the Dubai real estate market, and accurate and up-to-date information on licensed real estate brokers.
The application contributes to the realisation of DLD’s vision to make the Emirate the world’s premier real estate destination for innovation, confidence and happiness.
Al Hashmi added: “‘Dubai Brokers app helps both parties to obtain information on the best brokers, according to performance indicators and efficiency, and presents real estate units via an integrated map. The broker must simply fill in all of the required forms for sellers and buyers, and then enter the transaction data before visiting a real estate registration trustee’s office.”
The app provides credibility and transparency to investors and customers, allowing the investor to ensure that the real estate broker is registered with DLD and will protect the customer’s rights.
The campaign includes an awareness-raising video that highlights ‘Dubai Brokers’ app nd its services in an easy and convenient way.
Meanwhile, DLD has honoured its strategic partners, including real estate brokerage offices and several websites.
Yousif Al Hashimi, Deputy CEO of the Real Estate Regulatory Agency (RERA) – the regulatory arm of DLD – commented: “The aim of this event is to improve the efficiency of brokers in the real estate market by encouraging competition and incentivising them to provide the best services for investors and clients. This reflects our dedication to honouring all of our strategic partners and motivating them to deliver world-class services.”
PK Properties was the winner of the gold category and the award was presented to manager Semaan Anotoine Saeed by Yousif Al Hashimi, and Ali Abdullah Al Ali, Director of Real Estate Licensing at RERA.
Representatives from seven websites were also honoured for enhancing the credibility of the real estate market, with a particular focus on those that have had a significant positive impact on DLD and reducing negative practices in the real estate market. The list of sites that received the award included Propertyfinder.ae, Yzerproperty.com, Realopedia.com, Propertywifi.com, Bayut.com, Listaproperty.com, and Propertybook.com.
