Despite its dwindling resources occasioned by huge Debts owed the company by public and private institutions, the construction giant, Julius Berger Plc said the culture of staff training is being sustained to always reposition the company for better service delivery.
The Executive Director, Administration of Julius Berger Plc, Alhaji Zubairu Bayi made this known in his address to the 2015 Long Service Award Ceremony organized by the company for its staff in Abuja. He said that it has successfully trained no less than 5,318 staff this year as part of manpower development.
‘So far, in the year 2015, we have trained 5,318 staff from different cadres, in various disciplines, we have also offered primary assignment placement to 12 National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members as well as 101 students on Industrial work experience scheme [SIWES] in our bid to contribute to National building and empower the youths in realizing their full potentials”.
