The umbrella body of real estate practitioners in Nigeria, Real Estate Developers Association of Nigeria (REDAN) has finalized arrangements to host a two-day intensive workshop and Annual General Meeting (AGM )in Abuja.
The event being staged in collaboration with the Center for Housing Studies, University of Lagos will hold from March 9-10, 2016 at Musa Yar’adua Centre, Abuja will focus on the Theme ” Enhancing The Real Estate Value Chain for Increased Economic Growth , Inclusiveness And Employment Generation”
In a statement, the workshop marketing consultant, Festus Adebayo explained that the workshop is aimed at up scaling practitioners understanding of the business of real estate, navigating on ways and means to fund housing construction in a developing economy, enhancing the capacity and effectiveness of the housing development dynamics in Nigeria and to broaden the understanding of financing module to build affordable housing from a vantage position.
He further said, the two days event which will be declared open by Mr Babatunde Fashola, Minister of Power, Works and Housing will attract Estate developers, State Government Ministries of lands and housing, Primary Mortgage Banks, Pension Managers, Building Materials Manufacturers, and Professionals in the Construction Industry among others while Mr. Mohammed Bello the Honourable Minister of FCT will be the special guest of honour and Ugochukwu Chime President of REDAN will be the host.
The climax of the workshop will be the holding of REDAN 2016 Annual General Meeting.
